My Joyful Woe

Skies of glass
Of dewdrop stains
A satin sash and
Window panes
Your ghost is hollow
Haunting past
It longs to haunt me
Make it last
Make it whisper
Call my name
Blessed be
The blessed saved
Joyful woe
I revel there
I revel yonder
Spirit bare

  1. Wonderful Kim! I like the imagery. I see the crispness of the season and greater clarity that the shift in seasons brings. I understand more and more as I walk out my own crossroads and changes in life and decisions. It blessed me. Thanks for sharing.
