Divinely Found Pain

Integral, whimsical

Everything’s flimsy, though

Blinding, not binding

I’m sad, but I’m finding

That suffering isn’t

The worst kind of rhyme scheme

It isn’t so fearful

It isn’t so frightening

Divine Intervention

Are you paying attention?

Divinely found pain

In the grand scheme of things

A vapor, a breath

Is but all we have left

It’s never enough

When we’re holding our breath

Fight the good fight. Finish the race.
